National award for local bodyshop - July 2009

Dagenham-based crash repair centre AJC Wilson Bodyshop is celebrating after winning the prestigious Motor Trader Bodyshop of the Year award at a ceremony held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel last week.

The £3 million turnover company, which last month added the Learning & Skills Council Employer of the Year award to its already impressive trophy cabinet, defeated a strong shortlist of 5 businesses to be handed the award by the comedian Rhod Gilbert.

Commenting on the award, Managing Director Chris Oliver said: “We’re absolutely over the moon to have won this award.  It’s a testament to our twin strategies of putting our customers at the centre of our business and continually developing our team, and I would like to thank every single team member within our business.  We work incredibly hard to keep one step ahead of the industry, and we’re delighted that the Motor Trader judges have recognised this.”

AJC Wilson Bodyshop repairs all makes of cars and vans for major insurance company customers and fleets in East London and Essex and was the first in the UK to become BSI Kitemark Accredited.
